Unlike many “fortune telling” websites that use randomized output or generic AI-generated text, Chimystic's engines are built on deterministic rule systems derived from classical Chinese metaphysical texts:
- ▸Bazi (八字): Your birth year, month, day, and hour are mapped to Heavenly Stems (天干) and Earthly Branches (地支) using the traditional solar term (节气) calendar. The Five Elements (五行) of each pillar are analyzed through the generation (相生) and control (相克) cycles to produce your unique elemental profile.
- ▸I Ching (易经):Your Bazi chart determines your “life hexagram” (本命卦) based on the year pillar. Additional guidance hexagrams are selected based on your elemental balance and the current date, drawing from the traditional King Wen (文王) hexagram order.
- ▸Spirit Lots (灵签): The Guan Di spirit lot system uses a traditional algorithm based on the 100 sacred lots of Guan Di (关帝), each with its own verse, interpretation, and fortune grading — from Great Auspicious (上上大吉) to Inauspicious (下下).
- ▸Daily Fortune:Your personalized daily fortune combines your saved Bazi profile with the energy of the current day's Stem-Branch pair, generating life-area insights (career, love, health, wealth) using seasonal and elemental logic.
